“Hollaback! is a global, people-powered movement to end harassment — in all its forms. We believe that we all deserve to be who we are, wherever we are.
We believe we all have a role to play in disrupting harassment and building a culture where it is no longer seen as “just the price you have to pay” for being a woman, LGBTQ+, a person of color, or any other marginalized identity. We teach people to take action, and to reach across their own identities to ally with others and establish a united front against harassment each time we witness it.”
“Draw The Line is an interactive campaign that aims to engage Ontarians in a dialogue about sexual violence. The campaign challenges common myths about sexual violence and equips bystanders with information on how to intervene safely and effectively.”
The Empowering Internet Safety Guide for Women “was written with the intention of empowering women to navigate the internet without fear. We discuss common occurrences in which women are subject to harassment in their daily lives – on social media, at work, while dating, and more – and give tips and advice on how women can take control.”
“White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end violence against women and girls, promote gender equity, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity.”

The Ontario Human Rights Commission works “to promote, protect and advance human rights through research, education, targeted legal action and policy development.” “Education, in its broadest sense, is a “service” under the Code. Section 1 of the Code guarantees the right to equal treatment in services, without discrimination on the basis of sex. Sexual harassment, as a form of sex discrimination, is therefore prohibited in education settings.”
